SUPERVISED PRIVATE PRACTICE
I believe two important things when it comes to supervision:
- You deserve to be developing strong clinical skills and not just counting hours.
- You deserve to be able to depend on those hours.
It's your supervisor's job to stay current on their trainings, remain in good standing as an approved supervisor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and keep accurate records. Your supervisor needs to be very clear with the board requirements so there are no errors or lost hours. Your supervisor needs to have a documented advanced skill set. And finally, it is important for your supervisor to provide great feedback clinically and ethically and to be able to provide and receive feedback at regular check-ins.

Supervision for LMSW, LAC, MFT working in a group practice or agency. This can be on-going with a contract in place and an independent licensure goal in mind, or it can be as-needed for training and advancement here and there:

In Arizona, a master's level, non-independent licensee may provide behavioral health services in a practice they own or manage pursuant to A.A.C. R4-6-211.

- 3 individual/hour long virtual clinical supervision meetings per month.
- Ongoing access to referrals and trainings.
- One on-site supervision meeting per month at your office.

*Price may adjust based on travel distance or seeing fewer than/more than 20 clients per week

Virtual sessions
EMDR sessions are virtual, allowing the consultee to be located anywhere!
These hours can be completed individually or in a group.
Maybe you are just starting to consider becoming certified. If that's the case, I can offer 15 hours toward certification.
*I am currently in consultation training under renowned perinatal EMDR specialist Dr. Mara Tesler Stein and am able to assist with advancing one's perinatal EMDR practice.
